Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic export plans to expand business in international markets.
- Manage and lead the export team, ensuring smooth order processing, documentation, and timely dispatch.
- International Travel exposure
- Identify and build strong relationships with international buyers, distributors, and agents.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with international clients to ensure favorable terms.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export documentation, and customs policies.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance departments for order fulfillment and shipment planning.
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities in key export regions.
- Participate in international trade shows, exhibitions, and buyer-seller meets.
- Maintain accurate export records and generate regular sales and performance reports for management.
- Handle customer queries, resolve complaints, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in International Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in export operations and international sales in the Bags, Leather, or Apparel industry.
- In-depth understanding of global trade practices, export-import documentation, Incoterms, LC handling, and shipping regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully developing international markets and increasing export volumes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and export management software.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required
