Looking for a candidate with experience into International Sales of Rice in Middle East, South Africa, East Africa and South East Asia.

What you will do:

- New Business Development of agri-commodities rice, spices, DDGS

- Conducting market research to identify trends, pricing fluctuations, and demand-supply dynamics in the agricultural commodities market

- Assessment of global opportunities

- Commercial negotiation & order finalization.

- Developing strategic relationship with stakeholders Negotiating contracts with suppliers, buyers, and intermediaries for the purchase and sale of agricultural commodities

- Monitoring performance in quality, cost & delivery

- Coordination with the logistics and finance team & ensuring smooth operations

- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, trade laws, and industry standards governing the trade of agricultural commodities.

This is not solely based on whether a candidate has previously done similar work. We're looking for someone dynamic with the below qualities in generous quantities to perform well in this role:

- Previous experience with International business / Exports in a company with a sizeable business (> 100cr business per annum)

- Prior experience in working in markets of Middle East, Africa & South East Asia

- In-depth knowledge of Rice (basmati and non- basmati) as a commodity & international market

- Proficient knowledge of MS Office, especially MS PowerPoint & MS Excel

- Preferred relevant experience of 5-7 years

- The candidate must have a Graduation degree in any stream or diploma course in International Business. Candidates with an MBA degree will be preferred

- Strong negotiation skills

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
