We're Hiring an International Marketing Manager for a leading Manufacturer of chemicals:-
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / International Business / Commerce, MBA (International Marketing / Sales) - Preferred
Experience: 15-20 years of experience in international chemical trading/exports.
- Proven track record of managing global markets and achieving export growth.
- Strong exposure to B2B international sales and long-term customer relationships.
Position Summary -
The International Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving global sales, marketing, and business development activities for the company's chemical products. The role requires strong exposure to international chemical trading, global customer management, market expansion, and strategic partnerships across multiple geographies.The incumbent will play a key role in increasing export revenues, strengthening the global customer base, developing new markets, and positioning the company as a reliable international supplier while ensuring compliance with global trade regulations.
Roles & Responsibiities
1. Develop and implement international marketing and sales strategies for chemical products across global markets.
2. Identify and penetrate new export markets, distributors, and channel partners.
3. Manage and grow relationships with international customers, traders, and agents.
4. Achieve annual export sales targets and margin objectives.
5. Lead end-to-end global trading operations, including pricing, negotiations, and contract finalization.
6. Monitor global chemical market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitor activities.
7. Prepare market intelligence reports and strategic inputs for management.
8. Negotiate international commercial contracts, long-term supply agreements, and pricing structures.
9. Ensure adherence to Incoterms, payment terms (LC, DP, DA), and credit risk policies.
10. Coordinate with finance for export documentation, receivables, and risk mitigation.
11. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export-import laws, customs, and country-specific requirements.
12. Coordinate with logistics teams, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and CHA for smooth export execution.
13. Oversee export documentation, including invoice, packing list, COO, MSDS, REACH, RoHS, and other regulatory certifications.
14. Work closely with production, supply chain, quality, and commercial teams to ensure timely supply and quality compliance.
15. Coordinate with finance for pricing approvals, profitability analysis, and foreign exchange exposure.
16. Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, customer meetings, and industry forums.
17. Strengthen the company's global brand presence and reputation.
18. Mentor and guide junior marketing executives and international agents.
19. Establish performance metrics for overseas agents and distributors.
