Job title: International Exports Head
Location: Hyderabad
Years of experience: Min:18 years to 20 years.
1. Job Purpose:
To drive international business growth by identifying new export markets, developing strong distributor networks, ensuring seamless export operations, and achieving global sales targets while maintaining full regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
2. Roles and Responsibilities:
2.1. International Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and develop new export markets across APAC, MENA, GCC, Africa, Europe, and other regions.
- Generate and convert leads by onboarding new distributors, importers, and channel partners.
- Conduct competition analysis, pricing studies, and market mapping to drive revenue growth.
- Negotiate pricing, trade margins, MOQs, payment terms, and long-term commercial contracts.
2.2. Export Operations & Logistics:
- Manage complete export documentation including Invoice, Packing List, COO, Health Certificates, FSSAI requirements, LC, B/L, etc.
- Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, logistics partners, and production teams for timely shipment.
- Ensure smooth customs clearance and OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery for all export orders.
2.3. Compliance & Regulatory:
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, customs, international labeling, packaging, and country-specific regulations.
- Manage LC documentation, bank submissions, RBI regulations, and export incentive schemes.
- Maintain documentation accuracy and ensure zero compliance deviations.
2.4. Product, Marketing & Customer Management:
- Coordinate with QA, R&D, production, and packaging teams for export-specific product requirements.
- Support international product registrations, certifications (Halal, FDA, Organic, etc.).
- Maintain strong customer relationships through regular interactions, visits, and trade exhibitions.
- Handle customer complaints, service issues, and follow-ups within defined timelines.
2.5. Reporting, Forecasting & Strategy:
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence updates.
- Evaluate distributor performance and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in international exhibitions, trade fairs, and buyer-seller meetings.
3. Education:
- MBA/PGDM in International Business / Marketing / Foreign Trade.
- Graduate degree in Commerce / Business / Food Technology or related field.
- Certification in EXIM / International Trade / DGFT is an added advantage.
