Job opening for the International Business role in a Leading AMC at Mumbai & Chennai.

Role: International Business - AIF & PMS

Location: Chennai & Mumbai

Working Days: 5 Days

Work Mode: Work from Office

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a robust international business development strategy for AIFs and PMS.

- Identify and onboard NRI investors, international wealth managers, family offices, and institutional clients across key markets.

- Build and manage global distribution partnerships with private banks, RIAs, EAMs, and investment consultants.

- Lead international fundraising efforts and drive AUM growth from offshore investors.

- Organize and participate in roadshows, webinars, and investment events globally.

- Ensure full compliance with SEBI and relevant international marketing regulations (e.g., MAS, DFSA, FCA).

- Collaborate with investment and marketing teams to create tailored content for international audiences.

- Track investor feedback, assess market demand, and support product innovation.

- Maintain detailed sales MIS, pipeline reports, and investor documentation.

- Represent the firm at global investment forums and client engagements.

Qualifications:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business, Economics or related fields (MBA/CFA preferred).

- Minimum 4+ years of experience in wealth management, asset management, or investment product sales - with a focus on alternates (AIFs, PMS, hedge funds, PE, or structured products).

- Demonstrated success in managing HNI/UHNI/NRI client relationships and raising offshore capital.

- Deep understanding of global investment regulations, offshore fund structures, and international taxation (FEMA, FATCA, etc.).

- Existing network of NRI clients, international family offices, and global wealth platforms preferred.

- Excellent communication, cross-cultural negotiation, and client engagement skills.

- Willingness to travel extensively across international markets.

Certifications (as applicable)

- NISM Series XXI-A (PMS Distributors Certification) - Mandatory under SEBI for PMS distribution.

- Additional certifications (e.g., CISI, CFP, CFA, or equivalent) preferred for international credibility.
