Description:


Role Purpose

- To lead Consumer Products international growth by developing new markets, strengthening presence in existing geographies, and building a profitable, sustainable global business across retail, modern trade, and food service channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Global Expansion Strategy Identify and prioritize high-potential markets (Asia, Middle East, Europe, North America) and design market-entry & growth strategies.

- Sales & Revenue Delivery Achieve export sales and profit targets; manage full P&L for the international business.

- Channel & Partner Management Appoint, develop, and manage distributors.

- Brand & Product Localization Adapt products, packaging, and marketing for local consumer preferences and regulatory requirements.

- Regulatory Compliance Ensure all export operations meet destination country laws, quality norms, and certification requirements.

- Market Insights & Innovation Track global food trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to guide product and portfolio decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

- MBA / PG in International Business or related field.

- 15 to 18 years in FMCG international sales/business development (preferably packaged foods/beverages).

- Proven track record of launching and scaling brands in multiple countries.

- Strong distributor/retail network in key global markets.

Skills & Competencies

- Strong commercial acumen and P&L management.

- Cultural adaptability and strong cross-border negotiation skills.

- Deep understanding of international FMCG retail and distribution models.

- High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced growth environment.

Key Success Measures

- Year-on-year growth in international revenue and profitability.

- Entry into X new markets within 1224 months.

- Market share gains in existing export markets.

- Strength and sustainability of distribution partnerships.
