Internal Technical Sales Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Pune & Delhi

Experience: 3 to 7 Years

Mandatory Requirements:

- 3-7 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Motion Control, Drives, Application Engineering, Technical Support, or Technical Sales.

- Experience with OEMs, Machine Builders, System Integrators, or Industrial End Users.

- Exposure to Packaging, FMCG, Converting, Printing, Textiles, Robotics, Material Handling, or Process Automation.

- Experience with product sizing, selection, and configuration tools.

- Familiarity with SAP, CRM, Visio, and Microsoft Office.

- Knowledge of technical sales, quotations, and solution-selling methodologies.

Job Summary:

Looking for an Internal Technical Sales Engineer with experience in Industrial Automation, Motion Control, Drives, and Technical Sales to develop automation solutions and support customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with Sales Engineers and customers to develop innovative automation solutions.

- Analyze machine applications and recommend the optimal combination of Servo Systems, VFDs, PLCs, Motion Controllers, and Geared Motors.

- Perform product selection, sizing, configuration, and technical feasibility analysis.

- Create compelling technical proposals, solution concepts, and customer presentations.

- Support opportunity qualification and value-based solution selling.

- Collaborate with global application experts to solve complex technical challenges.

- Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, demonstrations, and site visits.

- Maintain accurate CRM records and support opportunity management activities.

Education:

Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

- 3-7 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Motion Control, Drives, Application Engineering, Technical Support, or Technical Sales.

- Experience with OEMs, Machine Builders, System Integrators, or Industrial End Users.

- Exposure to Packaging, FMCG, Converting, Printing, Textile, Robotics, Material Handling, General Motion, or Process Automation industries is highly desirable.

Preferred Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Servo Drives, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, Motion Control Systems, and Industrial Communication Networks.

- Experience with product sizing, selection, and configuration tools.

- Familiarity with SAP, CRM platforms, Visio, and Microsoft Office.

- Understanding of technical sales, quotations, and solution-selling methodologies.

- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
