
Job Summary:
- To independently evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions in adult patients, ensuring evidence-based, patient-centered care across outpatient and inpatient settings.
- The role involves comprehensive clinical decision-making, coordination of multidisciplinary care, and management of complex cases including comorbidities and lifestyle-related disorders.
- The consultant is expected to lead clinical services within internal medicine, supervise and mentor junior doctors, contribute to protocol development, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Additionally, the role emphasizes preventive healthcare, continuity of care, and adherence to institutional, ethical, and regulatory standards (NABH/JCI), while ensuring optimal patient outcomes and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct clinical assessments and manage outpatient and inpatient cases
- Prescribe appropriate investigations and medications
- Coordinate with specialists for referrals and collaborative care
- Maintain medical records and ensure documentation accuracy
- Support preventive health and wellness programs
- Maintain ethical, patient safety, infection control and documented communication
- practices according to NABH/ JCI protocols
Educational Qualification : MBBS with MD / DNB in Internal Medicine with MCI (MD/ DM) registration
