Internal Auditor - Manufacturing/Real Estate/EPC

Description: A leading diversified real estate and renewable energy platform is hiring an Audit Manager Internal Audit to independently plan and lead risk-based internal audits across real estate development and solar EPC businesses. The role will focus on project controls, governance, compliance, and profitability assurance while engaging closely with senior stakeholders and mentoring junior audit team members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute risk-based internal audits for real estate projects and solar EPC lifecycle (tendering to commissioning)

- Lead audits covering project cost controls, procurement, subcontractor management, billing, collections, and revenue recognition

- Assess key risks including project delays, cost overruns, contractual exposures, vendor risks, and regulatory compliance

- Prepare crisp audit reports with clear risk articulation, root cause analysis, and actionable recommendations

- Present findings to senior management and support closure and tracking of audit action plans

- Provide advisory inputs on process improvements, SOPs, and strengthening project governance frameworks

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (CMA)

- 5-6 years of experience in internal audit, risk advisory, or project audits

- Strong exposure to real estate, EPC, infrastructure, power, or renewable energy sectors

- Solid understanding of EPC contracts, BOQs, claims, liquidated damages, and project economics

- Strong report writing, analytical skills, and stakeholder management capability

- Willingness to work onsite from Mumbai
