Internal Auditor - Manufacturing Plant - CA

Own and drive the annual audit plan covering all group sites - Anjar, Vapi, Hyderabad (quarterly) and HO Mumbai (half-yearly)

- Lead process audits across all business functions: Finance, Procurement & Commercial, Operations/Plant, HR, IT and GAM/SOP compliance

- Identify process gaps, control weaknesses and SOP deviations priori - before they become formal compliance failures or governance incidents

- Prepare and present audit findings to Senior leadership with clarity, precision and actionable recommendations

- Issue Flash Findings Notes within 48 hours for critical observations requiring immediate management attention

- Own the Improvement Tracker and drive closure of all open audit findings with relevant function heads and BU leaders

- Ensure the half-yearly Assurance Report to the Chairman is comprehensive, accurate and submitted on time

- Build, mentor and manage the 4-member team - set audit standards, review work product and develop capability

- Establish the audit methodology, risk-based checklists, GAM review frameworks and SOP compliance assessment tools

- Act as a trusted advisor to business and function heads on process design, controls improvement and governance best practices

Technical & Functional:

- Qualified CA with 10-15 years of post-qualification experience; industrial group or manufacturing sector preferred

- Proven exposure to internal / process audit and risk-based auditing at a senior level

- Strong controller profile - takes ownership of numbers, processes and outcomes, not just observations

- Deep commercial acumen - understands business reality across procurement, manufacturing, finance and HR; not limited to textbook compliance

- Ability to read and interpret commercial contracts, vendor agreements and policy documents to identify risk exposure

- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle preferred); understanding of IT controls and data integrity checks
