Job Summary:

Responsible for planning and executing risk-based functional internal audits across corporate and control functions including Compliance, Risk Management, Legal, Finance, HR, Operations, and Customer Service to assess effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and compliance with IRDAI regulations and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct functional audits in line with the internal audit plan and audit standards

- Assess design and operating effectiveness of controls and identify key risks

- Review compliance with IRDAI regulations, internal policies, and procedures

- Prepare audit reports with clear observations and actionable recommendations

- Follow up on audit issues and validate closure

- Engage with functional stakeholders while maintaining audit independence

Requirements:

- CA / CIA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent

- 5+ years of experience in Internal Audit / Risk / Compliance, preferably in Life Insurance / BFSI

- Strong knowledge of risk-based auditing and regulatory compliance.
