About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Internal Auditor to join our finance and compliance team, responsible for evaluating, improving, and maintaining the integrity of internal control systems across our apparel manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in audit, risk management, and operational compliance within a manufacturing environment.

You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding company assets, ensuring adherence to policies, and recommending practical solutions to enhance process efficiency and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct end-to-end internal audits across key departments, including finance, production, procurement, supply chain, and HR.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify potential risks or process gaps.

- Review financial transactions, inventory management, and cost controls to ensure transparency and accuracy.

- Assess policy compliance, statutory adherence, and regulatory requirements applicable to manufacturing operations.

- Prepare comprehensive audit reports with detailed findings, root cause analysis, and actionable recommendations.

- Collaborate with departmental heads and management to ensure implementation of corrective measures.

- Track the closure of audit observations, monitor recurring issues, and update management with progress reports.

- Participate in process improvement and risk mitigation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, financial standards, and compliance frameworks.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- CA / MBA in Finance / Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or equivalent professional qualification.

- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in internal auditing, financial controls, or risk management, preferably in the textile or apparel manufacturing sector.

- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain finance, and cost accounting systems.

- Expertise in audit methodologies, control testing, and risk-based audit planning.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP / Oracle preferred), and data analytics tools for audit sampling and analysis.

- Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams.

- High level of integrity, independence, and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

- Exposure to factory-level audits, compliance reviews, and cost center evaluations.

- Familiarity with SOX compliance, ISO standards, and internal financial controls (IFC).

- Knowledge of data analytics or audit automation tools for continuous auditing.

- Experience working in multi-unit or export-oriented manufacturing setups
