Internal Auditor

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive internal audits across financial, operational, and compliance functions.

- Evaluate and test internal controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

- Identify gaps in processes, systems, and controls, and recommend actionable improvements.

- Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing observations, risks, and suggested process enhancements.

- Manage multiple audit assignments simultaneously while maintaining timelines and quality standards.

- Engage in client and stakeholder conversations to discuss audit findings and remediation plans.

- Assist in the development of risk-based audit plans and annual audit schedules.

- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of audit procedures and working papers.

- Collaborate with global teams and support international audit engagements where required.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes, tools, and methodologies.

- Follow up on audit recommendations and track implementation status.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, internal controls, and risk management.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to multi-task and handle client interactions professionally and effectively.

- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide audit team members.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, and PDF tools.

- Experience with global clients or on international audit projects (preferred).

- Project management skills and ability to manage end-to-end audit engagements (desirable).
