Internal Audit Professional - Branch & Concurrent Audit - CA

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit professional to join our team at an NBFC in Kurla. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal audit, with experience working in banks, NBFCs, HFCs, or financial services.

About the Role :

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing branch and concurrent audit programs, overseeing external audit partners, and evaluating internal controls and regulatory compliance. This is a senior role that requires strong leadership and team management skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage Branch and Concurrent Audit programs as per the audit plan

- Allocate audits, review reports, and ensure timely closure of audit findings

- Oversee external audit partners and concurrent auditors

- Evaluate internal controls, operational processes, and regulatory compliance

- Conduct branch audits and recommend process improvements

- Collaborate with business, operations, and risk teams to resolve audit observations

- Execute special audits, thematic reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills :

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification

- 8 to 12 years of experience in Internal Audit with Banks, NBFCs, HFCs, or Financial Services

- Experience with Branch, Concurrent, and Operational Audits

- Knowledge of Internal Financial Controls (IFC)

- Understanding of retail lending, branch operations, credit, and collections

- Risk-based auditing and regulatory compliance experience

- Team leadership and audit partner management skills
