Job Title: Internal Audit & Treasury Lead

You have the opportunity to:

To lead and manage the organizations treasury operations and internal audit function, ensuring optimal cash flow management, strong financial controls, risk mitigation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

Treasury:

- Manage all cash management functions including cash concentration, account funding etc and ensure adequate liquidity for working capital as well as long term needs and invest excess cash

- Managing the end-to-end Fx exposure management process (including compliance to local central bank guidelines) in line with the global Fx policy

- Implement / upgrade cash / trade products & solutions to improve cash cycle and simplify treasury and business operations

- Lead capital / financial restructuring exercises, as and when needed

- Manage business/equity valuations relating to capital injections and capital restructuring activities

- Lead WoCa / Cash Flow analytics to bring out meaningful actions / decisions

- Execution of Treasury Operations activities focused on Payment Factory and Inhouse Bank processes

- Act as an administrator of local banking authorization policy; support India Head of Finance for control related aspects; maintain authorization matrix and lead bank signatory change

- Repatriation of surplus cash to Group

- Support Acc-Ops and business finance in any treasury / bank related queries including Bank Guarantee / Letter of Credit etc

- Manage and scale up the Supplier financing program

- Manage and scale up the Channel financing program

- Set up and manage credit limits for working capital requirements including non-fund-based limits

- Work with Reserve Bank of India (Indian Central Bank) to seek special approvals required for business/treasury operations

- Ensure adherence to Indian Central Bank guidelines relating to Imports, Exports, Foreign Direct Investment, hedging etc

- Ensure timely filing of all banking related regulatory reporting

- Manage local Credit Rating for the company in India by Credit Rating agencies, if required

- Establish and maintain bank and insurance relationships relevant for the scope of activities and responsibilities

- FEMA advisory which involves advising the businesses regarding the local central bank guidelines - majorly, with reference to import and export of goods and services

Internal Audit:

- Determining Internal audit & ICoFR scope and developing annual plans

- Oversee the full Internal Audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

- Support the process owners in identifying risks & loopholes, recommending mitigation plans and risk aversion measures in line with applicable laws and regulations, implementing new ways of working as per agreed action plan and subsequently monitoring effectiveness of the same

- Finalizing management deck of Internal Audit findings for presentation to Audit Committee

- Establish and maintain relationships with various process owners which is relevant for the scope of activities and responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant having 7+ years of experience

- In-depth knowledge of Treasury Operations - daily cash flow management / investments / borrowings.

- Strong understanding of banking (payment and settlement systems, FEMA etc)

- Good knowledge of Fx Exposure Management

- Thorough understanding of Internal Audit function

- In-depth understanding of FEMA and FDI guidelines and demonstrated experience of having worked with Reserve Bank of India (Indian Central Bank) for special approvals

- Basic understanding of various types of Insurances

- Ability to work with cross functional teams ability to influence in the absence of reporting relationship

- Good at managing stakeholders

- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills

- Team player who takes full ownership and holds self / others accountable for outcomes

- Ability to meet key deliverables within agreed timelines

- Experience of having worked in a global business environment is a plus
