Our client, a global consulting firm is partnering with a prominent Private Equity sponsor to drive operational and financial transformation at one of their portfolio companies in the Tech Services or BPO sector (100+ Mn USD turnover).

This high-impact interim assignment sits at the heart of a classic PE value-creation playbook - strengthening finance function maturity, enhancing system-driven visibility & controls, and preparing the business for accelerated growth or a future exit. The deployed consultant will function as the acting / shadow CFO, directly influencing key financial strategy, performance discipline, and ERP modernization initiatives that determine EBITDA uplift and enterprise value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and elevate FP&A capabilities - own monthly/quarterly forecasting, variance analysis, unit economics, margin improvement initiatives, and board-level reporting packs for the PE sponsor

- Drive ERP system effectiveness - identify gaps, define requirements, oversee implementation of add-ons / enhancements (strong preference for Oracle Fusion experience), and improve overall finance process automation & data integrity

- Act as finance business partner to the CEO / operating leadership - provide commercial insights on pricing, cost-out programs, working capital optimization, and growth investment decisions

- Establish and run PMO-style governance for finance-led transformation projects - track milestones, manage cross-functional delivery, and ensure timely execution of value-creation levers

- Support PE sponsor requirements - covenant monitoring, scenario modelling, due-diligence readiness, and exit-preparation activities

Provide strong leadership to the existing finance team - mentor key personnel, instil discipline, and build sustainable capabilities during the engagement

Your Background:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience

- Prior full-time CFO role (or equivalent) in a Tech Services, IT Services, or BPO/KPO organization (preferably 100+ Mn USD revenue scale in the services space)

- Demonstrated experience working directly in / with Private Equity-backed companies (portfolio company finance leadership, value-creation program execution, or PE advisory)

- Deep expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), commercial finance, and business partnering

- Hands-on experience enhancing ERP systems and finance processes (Oracle Fusion add-ons / modules is a significant advantage)

- Proven PMO / project leadership skills with ability to drive change in matrix environments

- Strong executive presence, solution-oriented mindset, and track record of getting complex initiatives across the line

- US GAAP knowledge is a plus (but not mandatory)
