Intellect Design Arena - Vice President - AI Engineering Leader

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced AI Technology Leader to drive AI initiatives at Intellect Design Arena. The role requires a strong technical background in AI along with hands-on engineering experience in Java-based systems. You will lead the design, development, and adoption of AI solutions across platforms, with a focus on applied AI use cases, prototyping, and engineering integration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead AI strategy, design, and implementation across products

- Build and implement AI/ML solutions and proof-of-concepts to address business needs

- Work closely with engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems

- Evaluate and adopt emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and tools

- Stay hands-on and guide teams on development best practices

- Mentor team members and ensure high engineering standards

- Collaborate with product and business teams to deliver AI-driven solutions

Required Skills:

- 18+ years of overall experience with 2 - 3 years in AI leadership roles

- Strong experience in AI/ML, including Generative AI and LLM-based applications

- Experience building AI-powered applications, prototypes, or internal solutions

- Solid hands-on experience in Core Java and Spring

- Good understanding of system design and scalable architecture

- Ability to lead teams and drive technical decisions

- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills

Good to Have:

- Experience in the Insurance domain

- Exposure to cloud platforms and modern AI ecosystems

- Experience evaluating and implementing AI use cases in enterprise environments
