Aavishkaar Capital is the impact investing arm of the Aavishkaar Group, which manages multiple funds with a presence across India, Emerging Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Aavishkaar Group with its vision to bridge the opportunity gap for the emerging 3 Billion currently manages over USD 1 billion in Impact Assets across its platform.

The position is for Aavishkaars Credit Fund which provides Credit (Debt) facilities to performing profitable SMEs as also scaled up B2B ventures in the export value chains for growth capital. It's an ESG led fund and supports sustainable practises for driving commercial returns.

Role Description:

As part of the team, you will play a key role across the investment lifecycle from deal sourcing and credit evaluation to transaction execution and portfolio monitoring while working closely with Partners to support investments in high-growth SMEs and B2B enterprises across the Global South.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead investment analysis, financial modelling, and credit assessments

- Prepare Investment Memos and support investment committee processes

- Drive transaction execution with legal counsel and due diligence partners

- Source and evaluate investment opportunities aligned with the Fund's mandate

- Monitor portfolio performance, covenant compliance, and repayments

- Support fundraising and investor engagement initiatives as required

We're looking for:

- Qualified CA or MBA

- 5-9 years of relevant experience in Credit Funds, NBFCs, Banks, or Credit Investing

- Strong financial modelling, transaction execution, and credit analysis skills

- Understanding of Indian SME businesses and industries

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
