We leverage our convening and amplification platform Sankalp to augment our effort to search, seed, support, and scale impact enterprises across sectors. We have worked with over 300 clients on over 500 consulting and research engagements across multiple geographies. We are a group of 7000 + professionals in offices across India, Kenya, and Indonesia.

Position Description

The Management Professional will support strategic advisory and programme management initiatives for a government partner, with a focus on agriculture sector transformation and broader economic development. The role involves working closely with government departments and ecosystem stakeholders to support policy implementation, programme design, institutional strengthening, and

project execution. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, structured problem-solving, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the design and delivery of strategic advisory assignments for government partners in agriculture and economic development.

- Conduct research, policy analysis, market assessments, and sector diagnostics to inform programme design and decision-making.

- Develop presentations, concept notes, reports, policy briefs, and other knowledge products for senior government stakeholders.

- Coordinate and manage multiple workstreams, ensuring timely execution of project deliverables and adherence to quality standards.

- Engage with government departments, development partners, industry stakeholders, and other ecosystem actors to facilitate project implementation.

- Support programme planning, monitoring, and evaluation through data analysis, progress tracking, and reporting.

- Facilitate stakeholder consultations, workshops, and meetings, documenting key outcomes and follow-up actions.

- Identify implementation challenges and recommend practical, evidence-based solutions.

- Contribute to proposal development, business development initiatives, and knowledge management activities, where required.

Required Qualifications, Key Skills & Competencies

- MBA/PGDM from a premier institution, preferably IIM Lucknow or an equivalent Tier-1 management institute.

- 3-5 years of professional experience in consulting, investment, advisory, or other professional services environments.

- Prior experience in strategy consulting, government advisory, public policy, economic development, or programme management will be preferred.

- Demonstrated analytical rigour, structured problem-solving, and strong communication skills, with the ability to develop high-quality presentations and client deliverables.

- Ability to work effectively with senior government stakeholders and manage cross-functional engagements in a dynamic environment.

- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working from government offices based in Lucknow or Delhi, with willingness to travel as required.

- Exposure to agriculture, rural development, economic development, or public sector programmes will be an added advantage.
