
About the Role:
- We are seeking a dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead and drive sales activities across a designated geographic region.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing a team of sales representatives, building strong customer relationships, and expanding market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets and growth objectives.
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives or representatives to maximize their performance.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding client needs and providing excellent service.
- Identify new business opportunities and markets to expand the company's reach.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales tactics accordingly.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with promotional activities and product launches.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical standards.
- Handle escalated customer issues and resolve them promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Organize and participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events to enhance brand visibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- MBA is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
