
Intech Organics Limited is an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer and supplier of specialized bromine-based chemicals. Established in 1999, we are now a globally recognized leader in customized bromine-based products and services with a vast distribution network across 70 countries. We are recognized for being the first in India to manufacture and supply Methyl Bromide, which we started producing since 2004 at our plant in Goa. In 2015, we set up another Methyle Bromide plant in Rajasthan and, later in 2020, we set up of India's largest Aluminium Phosphide plants in Rajasthan for commercial production. In 2021, we initiated a greenfield project in Gujarat to manufacture Bromine, a specialized chemical, under Intech Brinechem Limited. As part of our expansion strategy, in 2022, we signed a strategic agreement with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) to manufacture Bromide and Sodium Bromide and other Bromine in UAE.
Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sustainable business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strategic relationships, and expanding the company's presence across domestic and international markets. This role requires extensive travel (minimum 20 days per month) to engage with clients, attend industry events, and explore emerging market prospects. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales expertise, market development capabilities, and the ability to convert leads into long-term profitable partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Market Expansion:
1) Identify and develop new business opportunities across target sectors and regions.
Conduct detailed market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and evolving industry trends.
2) Travel frequently to meet clients, distributors, and partners to strengthen business relationships and expand market reach.
3) Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.
Client Engagement & Sales Management:
1) Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, influencers, and decision-makers.
2) Present customized product/service solutions tailored to client requirements.
3) Manage the complete sales lifecycle, including lead generation, proposals, negotiation, and closure.
4) Drive customer satisfaction and ensure repeat business.
Strategy & Planning:
1) Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
2) Prepare business proposals, pricing/financial models, and accurate sales forecasts.
3) Provide market intelligence and customer insights to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
4) Contribute to long-term business planning and guide junior BDMs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with internal teams including R&D, supply chain, operations, and finance to fulfill client needs.
- Ensure timely and seamless execution of contracts, agreements, and project commitments.
