Position Title: Institutional Sales Manager
Experience Required: 3 to 10 years
Background: Experience in Asset Management Companies (AMC) with exposure to large corporates preferred

Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain relationships with large corporates, financial institutions, and other institutional clients.
- Identify and onboard clients by understanding their investment needs and providing tailored solutions from the AMC product portfolio.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, such as CFOs, treasurers, and senior executives in large corporate organizations.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Create and implement sales strategies targeted at expanding the AMC's presence in the corporate segment.
- Drive growth in institutional assets under management (AUM) by promoting mutual fund schemes and other AMC products.
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue and AUM growth targets.
Market Intelligence and Reporting:
- Stay informed about market trends, corporate investment patterns, and economic indicators affecting institutional sales.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and client feedback to management.
Collaboration:
- Partner with internal teams, including fund managers, research analysts, and product specialists, to ensure offerings meet corporate client requirements.
- Work in coordination with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and corporate governance practices.
Networking and Representation:
- Represent the organization at industry events, corporate seminars, and investor forums to enhance visibility among large corporates.
- Leverage an existing network of corporate clients to generate leads and expand the client base.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3-10 years of institutional sales experience in an Asset Management Company (AMC), with a proven track record of handling large corporates.
- Strong understanding of mutual fund products, investment strategies, and corporate treasury requirements.
- Existing relationships and networks within large corporate organizations.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze corporate investment portfolios and recommend customized solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and investment platforms.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as NISM Mutual Fund Distributor or CFA (preferred).
