Institutional Research Role - Sell Side - Cement/Metal/BFSI Sector

Position: Institutional Research (Sell Side) (Cement, Metal, Mid-Cap, BFSI)

Job Purpose:

To conduct in-depth research and analysis of midcap companies/sectors, generate actionable investment insights, and support institutional clients with high-quality reports and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct detailed fundamental research on companies across assigned sectors

- Build and maintain financial models (DCF, valuations, forecasting)

- Track industry trends, company performance, and macroeconomic factors

- Prepare research reports, earnings notes, and sector updates

- Interact with company management, industry experts, and stakeholders

- Support institutional sales team with investment ideas and client queries

- Present research findings to internal teams and external clients

Key Requirements:

- MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA (preferred)

- Strong experience in equity research with focus on midcap stocks

- Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation techniques

- Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills

- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.)
