1. Financial Planning & Budgeting: - Lead the annual budgeting process, including coordinating with different departments to gather, review, and consolidate financial data. - Develop long-term financial plans that align with the company's strategic objectives and operational goals. - Prepare detailed budgetary forecasts and update them regularly to reflect changes in business conditions or objectives. - Ensure variance analysis between actual results and budgeted/forecasted data, providing actionable insights to management. 2. Variance & Budgeting Analysis: - Perform comprehensive variance analysis, identifying and explaining key drivers of variances between actual and forecasted financial results. - Provide detailed financial insights and reports on variance drivers for revenue, expenses, and profitability. - Support budget vs. actual analysis, ensuring data accuracy and prompt reporting for management review. - Work closely with business units to ensure budget discipline and recommend corrective measures when variances are identified. 3. Profitability Analysis: - Conduct profitability analysis for different business units, products, or projects to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue improvement. - Develop and maintain profitability models, providing insights into cost structures, margins, and pricing strategies. - Support management with in-depth analysis of financial performance to assist in decision-making regarding product lines, capital investments, or expansion plans. - Provide insights into cost-benefit analysis, ensuring informed financial decisions are made with clear visibility into profitability metrics. 4. SAP System Optimization: - Utilize expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, and SAP BPC to automate and enhance financial planning, variance analysis, and profitability reporting processes. - Work with the IT team to optimize and improve SAP functionalities for financial planning and reporting. - Ensure data integrity and consistency in SAP systems by continuously improving processes and controls around financial reporting. - Implement financial dashboards using SAP and other BI tools to provide real-time financial insights to stakeholders. 5. Financial Reporting & Forecasting: - Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, summarizing performance against key financial metrics such as revenue, profitability, and cash flow. - Manage the rolling forecast process, ensuring accurate and timely updates to forecasts based on actual results and changing market conditions. - Develop financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide senior management with insights into business performance. - Support ad hoc financial analysis and projects related to strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, or other business decisions. 6. Strategic Financial Support: - Collaborate with senior management to analyse financial results and provide recommendations based on budget variances, profitability trends, and strategic goals. - Support financial decision-making by providing insights from budgeting, variance analysis, and financial forecasts. - Play a key role in the company's financial transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business strategy and operational goals. Qualifications Professional Certification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent (e.g., CPA, ACCA). Experience: - 10+ years of experience in financial consolidation and reporting for large, multi-entity organizations. - Proven 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP BPC, and SAP FICO. - Expertise in managing consolidation processes, including intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and minority interest calculations.
