Role Overview:
- We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with hands-on experience in Prophecy (Data Transformation Platform) to drive data-driven solutioning and business analysis initiatives.
- The role involves working closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable data workflows and impactful insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for data-driven solutions.
- Work extensively on Prophecy for designing, managing, and optimizing data transformation pipelines.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to translate business needs into ETL/ELT workflows.
- Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows for data solutions.
- Perform data analysis, validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and insights using BI tools (Power BI/Tableau, etc.
- Support UAT, testing, and deployment cycles ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Prepare documentation, use cases, and solution artifacts for internal and client use.
- Provide support in client discussions, demos, and solution walkthroughs when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- B.Tech/M. Tech in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in data/analytics projects.
- Hands-on experience with Prophecy (must-have) for data transformation and pipeline development.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Experience in creating functional and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
