Job Description:
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager - Police Vertical to drive sales of our analytics and digital solutions to Indian police forces and public safety agencies.
- The ideal candidate will have prior experience in selling technology or analytics solutions to state police departments and a strong understanding of government procurement and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within state police departments, Home Departments, and public safety organizations.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure for analytics and digital policing solutions.
- Drive revenue growth in the police vertical by achieving sales targets and strategic account penetration.
- Build strong relationships with senior police officials, Home Department decision-makers, and IT heads within law enforcement agencies.
- Conduct product presentations, solution demos, and proof-of-concept engagements to demonstrate value.
- Navigate government procurement processes including tenders, RFPs, empanelment, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, legal, delivery) to ensure timely and compliant submissions.
- Monitor trends in digital policing, crime analytics, and public safety technology adoption.
- Provide regular reports on sales progress, forecasts, and customer feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3+ years in selling data analytics, SaaS, or digital transformation solutions to Indian police or public sector clients.
- Proven track record in government sales, particularly within the police and home affairs ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement cycles, tendering processes, and government decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India as per business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related fields.
- MBA is a plus.
- Familiarity with CCTNS, Safe City Projects, surveillance systems, or crime analytics platforms is highly desirable.
