Infosys - Senior Manager - Purchase

Role Overview:

As a Senior Manager in the Purchase function, you will lead end-to-end procurement strategies for large-scale enterprise requirements. This role involves orchestrating complex sourcing cycles, managing high-value vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-efficiency across global operations. You will collaborate closely with internal business units, legal teams, and global stakeholders to align procurement activities with organizational goals. Your work directly impacts the company's bottom line and operational agility by ensuring the seamless acquisition of critical technology assets, services, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Formulate and execute strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement costs while maintaining high quality and service standards for internal business units.

- Negotiate high-value contracts and service level agreements with global vendors to mitigate risk and ensure favorable commercial terms.

- Manage the full lifecycle of procurement projects, from requirement gathering and RFP/RFQ management to final vendor selection and contract lifecycle management.

- Drive process improvements and automation within the purchase function to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with global procurement policies.

- Partner with cross-functional leadership teams to forecast demand and align procurement activities with the evolving needs of the business.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, and complex contract negotiations within a large-scale enterprise environment.

- Strong analytical ability to interpret market trends, manage spend data, and make data-driven decisions that impact organizational profitability.

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and build long-term, collaborative relationships with external partners.

- Proven track record of managing procurement operations for 7 to 14 years, with a deep understanding of global supply chain dynamics and compliance frameworks.

- A postgraduate degree in Management or a related field from a premier institute is preferred, complemented by a high degree of adaptability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid professional environment.
