About The Opportunity:

A fast-growing organisation in the Technology Services & Enterprise IT Infrastructure sector, delivering managed infrastructure, cloud migrations and secure operations for customers across finance, SaaS and healthcare.

We are hiring locally in Bangalore for a hands-on Information Technology (IT) Manager to lead infrastructure, security and service delivery (Full-time).

Primary title (optimized): Information Technology (IT) Manager.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Define and execute IT strategy aligned to business goals: roadmap infrastructure, cloud adoption, and disaster recovery plans.

- Own day-to-day infrastructure operations: servers, virtualization, storage, networks, backups and patching to ensure high availability.

- Lead ITSM and service desk operations: set SLAs, implement continuous improvement, and drive incident/problem/change management.

- Design and enforce cybersecurity controls: vulnerability management, firewall & endpoint protection, identity access management and compliance monitoring.

- Manage vendor relationships, procurement, licensing and the IT budget; negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective sourcing.

- Build and mentor the IT team: hiring, performance management, training and cross-functional collaboration with business stakeholders.

Must-Have:

- Windows Server.

- Linux.

- Active Directory.

- VMware.

- AWS.

- ServiceNow.

Preferred:

- Cisco Networking.

- SIEM.

- ITIL.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).

- 8+ years in IT operations/infrastructure roles with a minimum of 3-5 years in a people/managerial role.

- Proven track record of managing cloud/on-prem environments, implementing DR plans and meeting SLA targets.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, AWS) are advantageous.
