Information Security and Tech Risk In this role, you will: - Develop and drive innovative operational risk approaches and solutions companywide through an influence model - Perform activities required under the Operational Risk Program Policy and related policies and procedures - Review and challenge adequacy and efficiency of the front-line controls Create reports and memos communicating oversight results - Develop and drive innovative operational risk approaches and solutions companywide through an influence model - Constructively and independently challenge existing risk management fundamentals or assumptions and develop alternative approaches and solutions - Perform gap analysis on policy requirements for risk types aligned to various operational and Information Security processes. - Validate/evaluate appropriateness, completeness, effectiveness and sustainability of corrective actions taken to address situations defined as issues. - Ability to synthesize data from a variety of sources and deliver results quickly. - Evaluate long term implications and consequences of strategic business decisions and recommend appropriate alternatives for managing risks. - Lead implementation of complex initiatives with high risk, generally spanning multiple business lines - Consult to the business on corrective action plans and effectively managing change - Influence and negotiate with executive management and business heads as high-level stakeholders both within and outside the organization. - Lead initiatives and virtual teams across the organization to deliver companywide business risk management transformations - Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals - Lead project or virtual teams and mentor less experienced staff Required Qualifications: - Experience in Operational Risk through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education - 15+ years of experience in risk assessment, independent risk management, control evaluation, risk reporting and issue management on Information Security risks, of which 5+ years must include direct experience in risk management demonstrated through work. - Industry recognized certification such as CISM/ CISA / CRISC / CISSP. - Excellent written and oral communication. Job Expectations: - Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adjust to changing priorities. - Proven experience with managing Information Security risk and issues. - Highly proactive, able to work both independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environment using sound judgment in decision-making. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with virtual and/or geographically dispersed teams.
