Strategic Sourcing Lead:

- We have an opportunity for a Strategic Sourcing Lead to join our Sourcing and Procurement team in bangalore, reporting to Director, Finance.

- In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and overseeing end-to-end procurement processes across multiple categories, including travel, events, and indirect spend.

- You will also play a key role in negotiating contracts, optimizing costs, ensuring policy compliance, and supporting ESG and inclusion goals.

Be a Contributor - What You'll Do:

- Support category managers on strategic sourcing of various categories and process for assigned category, including identifying sourcing opportunities, determining total cost of ownership, demand management, developing multi-year sourcing portfolio, and providing structural cost reduction.

- Engage and collaborate with HR, Facilities, Finance, Marketing, or any other functions for developing requirements, evaluating competitive bid proposals, selecting vendors and suppliers, and understanding category developments and opportunities.

- Manage the travel category by partnering with travel agencies and vendors to oversee corporate travel, hotel bookings, flights, and related services.

- Negotiate and manage contracts with travel agencies, hotels, and event service providers to ensure cost efficiency and quality service.

- Ensure compliance with company travel policies and optimize travel-related expenditures.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze travel trends, identify savings opportunities, and implement strategic initiatives in the travel category.

- Manage contracts and supplier relationships by establishing and monitoring SLAs and KPIs to reduce risk and improve business outcomes.

- Support supplier diversity programs in alignment with corporate ESG and inclusion and community goals.

- Manage the end-to-end P2P process, ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

- Coordinate with executive assistants across departments to create purchase requisitions (PRs) in Oracle Fusion ERP, ensuring correct budget approvals and GL coding.

- Oversee the conversion of PRs into purchase orders (POs) and support high-value PO creation.

- Support Procurement Helpdesk in addressing business needs and ensuring timely resolution.

- Manage vendor onboarding, due diligence, risk assessments, and performance evaluations.

- Collaborate with Finance (FP&A) for budgetary alignment and compliance.

- Drive procurement savings, improve supplier payment terms (WAPT), achieve diversity spend targets, and enhance ATF compliance.

- Prepare and present executive procurement dashboards, highlighting KPIs, savings, and compliance metrics for leadership.

- Enforce global procurement standards, including "No PO No Pay" and supplier due diligence requirements.

- Support the adoption of AI-based procurement automation to drive operational efficiency.

Be Prepared - What You Bring:

- 7-10 years of experience in sourcing and procurement operations.

- Deep expertise in non-IT/travel categories with global supply base and market knowledge.

- Proficiency in strategic sourcing, spend analysis, cost optimization, contract negotiation, and risk assessment.

- Solid international sourcing experience with the ability to manage strategic and day-to-day procurement operations.

- Proven project management skills with focus on timely, budget-compliant delivery.

- Knowledge of supplier/vendor contracts and legal terminology.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems for PR and PO creation.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering; MBA or certifications like CPSM/CPS preferred.

- Proficient in MS Office and excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Confidently navigate procurement policies, P2P processes, and Oracle Fusion ERP.

- Manage travel category procurement, support the Helpdesk, contribute to inclusion goals, and deliver clear reporting.

- Build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver early cost savings.

One Year:

- Independently lead the travel category, sourcing, own Helpdesk escalations, and present executive dashboards.

- Be the go-to expert for Procurement Helpdesk escalations and policy compliance.

- Regularly present executive-level reports, showcasing KPIs, savings, inclusion spend and compliance improvements.
