InfoCepts - Assistant Manager - Finance

Position : Assistant Manager - Finance.

Purpose of the Position : To lead and manage accounting, taxation, treasury, and regulatory compliance functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax optimization, liquidity management, and adherence to FEMA, RBI, and ODI guidelines.

- Accounting & Financial Reporting.

- Oversee complete accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, and reconciliations.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements as per Ind AS/IFRS.

- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

Taxation & Compliance:

- Handle direct and indirect tax matters (GST, Income Tax, TDS).

- Prepare and review tax returns, assessments, and represent the company before tax authorities.

- Implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities.

Treasury Management:

- Manage cash flow planning, fund allocation, and liquidity management.

- Negotiate banking facilities, loans, and working capital arrangements.

- Optimize surplus fund investments and monitor ROI.

- Manage forex transactions and hedging strategies.

- Regulatory Compliance (FEMA, RBI, ODI).

- Ensure compliance with FEMA regulations for foreign exchange transactions.

- Handle RBI reporting, foreign investments, and remittances and settlements.

- Manage Overseas Direct Investment (ODI) compliance, documentation, and reporting.

- Liaise with banks and regulatory authorities for approvals and filings.

Audit & Internal Controls:

- Coordinate statutory, tax, and internal audits.

- Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies.

- Work and Technical Experience.

Essentials Skill:

- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, GST, Income Tax, FEMA, RBI guidelines, ODI regulations.

- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).

- Excellence in using MS Office products like Advance Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

- Excellent Oral & Written Communication.

- Outstanding analytical skills.

Desirable Skills:

- Lead and mentor the finance team.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for budgeting and forecasting.

Qualification:

- CA (Final)/ ICWA(Final)/ MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

- 10-12 years of experience in accounting, taxation, treasury, and regulatory compliance.
