The HR business partner (HRBP) is an expert in HR and a strategic partner to the assigned business unit. The position serves as a consultant to the senior leadership and management on people strategy, in-line with business objectives.
The incumbent is expected to drive and implement HR initiatives to increase organizational effectiveness, build capability and talent of workforce and team, and lead strategy and tactics to positively impact overall business performance and HR metrics
The role also requires strong partnerships across HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees by assessing and anticipating HR-related needs and creating integrated solutions.
- Business Partner Develop, drive and implement the Business HR Plan for each function supported.
- This item includes understanding the business and people priorities, while collaborating with HR and business leadership teams to diagnose and identify interventions needed.
- Leadership Consultant - The ability to partner, influence and engage with senior business leaders in service of executing business strategies that will further business and organizational objectives.
- Change Agent - Partner with, and coach, leaders, senior leaders, and managers to facilitate organizational and cultural change.
- Educate the business on HR trends that affect the business. Acquire business sponsorship for HR initiatives.
- Program Manager - Lead implementation of core HR programs / key talent programs into the business ensuring an effective, sustainable people strategy over the long term.
- Employee Advocate/Relations - Ensure role is perceived as an objective employee resource and escalation path for unresolved issues
Qualification: MBA HR
Min. Experience Required: 12 yrs - 15 yrs
- Resiliency and agility to change focus and priority based on changing business demands will be crucial to success.
- A strong muscle for collaborating and getting things done across any boundaries with your HR partners.
- Additionally, you should have strength in the following disciplines: Organizational design, organizational development (OD), change management, human resources development, organizational effectiveness, leadership development and talent management.
- This role will provide you with the opportunity to work directly with Senior Leadership and create the necessary business impact.
- Provide consultation/coaching to business leaders and improve effectiveness of leadership teams.
- In addition to core HRBP work, drive efforts for the team aligned with the organization's strategy.
- Flex and grow your HR acumen as you partner with leaders with varying team/business needs, pace and configurations (acquired employees, newly established teams, teams going through change.
