Data Analyst
Overview:
The Data Analyst is responsible for the collection, processing, analysis, and interpretation of data to generate actionable insights. These insights will support informed decision-making and drive business strategies within the e-commerce platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate familiarity with product funnels, Control Group/Test Group (CG/TG) and A/B Testing, Retention analysis, Cohort analysis, and Business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Generate comprehensive and insightful reports, including pre/post analysis and impact analysis.
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that yield actionable insights.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns within complex datasets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve business problems.
- Possess strong analytical skills with the capability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Monitor performance metrics, establish data quality standards, and implement measures to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Requirements:
- Possession of a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are advantageous.
- A minimum of three years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within the e-commerce or technology industry with business acumen.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel.
- Experience with visualization tools, with preference for Looker, as well as familiarity with Tableau and Power BI.
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) is desirable.
- Experience with web scraping is desirable.
- Experience with Google Analytics is desirable.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into comprehensible insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey findings to non-technical stakeholders.
