
Role Purpose: To build and scale the New Economy franchise for the region within Wholesale Banking Group, delivering 25%+ CAGR YoY growth through structured acquisition, balance deepening and transaction banking solutions across New Economy clients.

- Digital-first enterprises (excluding fintechs)
- Consumer tech, SaaS, D2C, platform businesses
- GCCs (Global Capability Centres)
- IT / ITES companies
- Growth-stage and mature startups (non-regulated)
- PE / VC / AIF funds
- Ecosystem entities in GIFT City
Key Responsibilities
1. Franchise Ownership & Growth
- Own P&L-linked outcomes for the regional New Economy liabilities book.
- Drive CASA, term deposits, escrow, CMS and operating balances.
- Build a scalable, repeatable acquisition model aligned to WBG strategy.
2. Market Development & Senior Engagement
- Establish senior-level relationships with founders, promoters, CFOs, treasurers and fund managers.
- Build strong referral networks with VCs, PEs, ecosystem partners and advisors.
- Position IndusInd Bank as a primary transaction banking partner.
3. Product & Solutions Leadership
- Treasury & surplus deployment: CASA, TDs, Escrows
- Champion end-to-end banking solutions CMS, Trade, Supply Chain, API-led Digital & Connected Banking, Working capital
- Partner with product, operations and technology teams for solutioning.
- Cross sell- retail and third party products
4. Team Leadership & Governance
- Build, mentor and lead a high-performance New Economy RM team.
- Set targets, review pipelines and enforce execution discipline.
- Ensure strong governance, risk alignment and policy compliance.
- Act as regional SPOC for New Economy initiatives.
