Key Responsibilities:
- Business Growth & Sales: Develop and execute strategies to acquire new B2B clients, identify opportunities for 3PL (third-party logistics), and expand existing accounts.
- Strategic Partnerships: Build, maintain, and leverage relationships with key stakeholders, carriers, and suppliers to enhance service offerings.
- Client Solutions & Proposals: Analyze client logistics requirements, prepare customized proposals, and lead presentations for warehousing and distribution services.
- Operational Collaboration: Work with warehouse teams to ensure that proposed solutions align with operational capabilities, focusing on cost reduction, efficiency, and safety.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to identify trends, analyze the competitive landscape, and stay updated on industry regulations.
- Contract Negotiation: Manage pricing discussions, negotiate contract terms, and close deals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain management, or 3PL business development.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of warehousing operations, inventory management, freight forwarding, and supply chain processes.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to use data to identify growth opportunities, optimize routes, and improve efficiency.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written skills for client pitching, relationship management, and contract negotiation.
- Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with logistics management software, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and CRM tools.
- Education: Typically a bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
