Job Description: Business Analyst - Asset Assurance Team

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Asset Assurance Team. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify risks, and develop strategies to safeguard company assets while improving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis:

- Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks in asset operations.

- Build and maintain dashboards/reports to track KPIs related to asset assurance, utilization, and recovery.

- Support in creating risk categorization models and monitoring frameworks.

Business Problem-Solving:

- Partner with operations, finance, and product teams to understand pain points and develop data-backed solutions.

- Conduct root cause analysis on revenue leakages, asset losses, and process inefficiencies.

- Define and document business requirements for new processes or system enhancements.

Business Reporting:

- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Risk, Product, Ops) for smooth execution of asset assurance strategies.

- Present insights and recommendations to senior management in a clear and structured manner.

Key Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or related field. Master's degree/MBA is a plus.

- Tier 1 colleges only (IIT/NIT/BITS/DTU) or similar with 8+ CGPA

- Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role (experience in risk/asset assurance/supply chain/fintech/operations is preferred).

Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel, and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).

- Basic understanding of statistical methods and financial analysis.

- Strong business acumen with ability to translate data into strategic insights.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

- Good to have knowledge in AI tools, Agentic AI workflows (N8N, Zapier etc)
