Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Area Sales Manager, you'll be instrumental in driving our aggressive growth strategy in your assigned region.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Regional Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute regional sales strategies that align with our company's overall goals.
- Business Growth: Grow our business by effectively managing and expanding relationships with distributors, retailers, and modern trade partners.
- Target Achievement: Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across all product categories.
- Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to develop proactive sales strategies.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Area Sales Executives and Territory Managers, setting targets, tracking their performance, and providing essential coaching.
- Promotional Execution: Ensure the efficient execution of new product launches, promotional activities, and trade marketing initiatives.
- Inventory & Collections: Maintain optimal stock levels, manage accurate sales forecasting, and ensure timely collections across all channels.
- Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong, long-term relationships with trade partners to ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Reporting & Feedback: Provide timely and accurate reports and feedback to management on sales performance, market dynamics, and competitive insights.
Requirements:
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in sales management within the consumer electronics or home appliances industry.
- Preference will be given to applicants from brands including LG, Samsung, Haier, Whirlpool,
Panasonic, Daikin, or Voltas.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of distribution and retail networks, particularly within the electronics/appliance sector.
- Team Management: Proven experience in successfully managing sales teams and consistently achieving business targets.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions
