We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Sales Operations Data Consultant Officer to support data-driven decision-making and optimize sales performance across global teams. The role involves managing sales operations data, developing performance insights, streamlining reporting processes, and collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and business leadership teams.
This position is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in sales analytics, business operations, and stakeholder management, who are eager to drive operational excellence through data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, validate, and analyze sales performance data from multiple sources (CRM, ERP, BI tools).
- Maintain accurate and consistent data records to support forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
- Develop dashboards and analytical reports to identify trends, patterns, and areas for sales process improvement.
- Support sales quota planning, pipeline hygiene, and revenue forecasting through data analysis.
- Build, automate, and maintain sales performance dashboards and executive summaries (using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools).
- Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership and sales managers.
- Present periodic reports and insights on KPIs such as conversion rates, lead-to-sale ratios, and sales cycle times.
- Support data-driven decision-making for strategic sales initiatives and market expansion efforts.
- Partner with global and regional sales teams to streamline sales processes, tools, and data flows.
- Identify inefficiencies in sales operations and propose process improvements.
- Collaborate with IT and CRM administrators to enhance system functionality and reporting capabilities.
- Support sales incentive tracking, territory management, and performance alignment activities.
- Work closely with global stakeholders across sales, finance, marketing, and business operations.
- Serve as the data liaison between regional sales teams and senior management.
- Provide analytical and operational support for strategic business reviews and planning sessions.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment on sales targets, KPIs, and reporting methodologies.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in data analytics, business intelligence, and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Excel (advanced functions), Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
- Understanding of sales metrics, KPIs, and funnel analytics.
- Experience in managing data integrity, cleaning, and validation processes.
- Knowledge of SQL or data query tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex data into business insights.
- Proven ability to work in a global, cross-functional, and remote environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight timelines.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to driving improvements and efficiency.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Analytics, or Sales Strategy roles.
- Experience in global or multi-region sales operations is preferred.
