Inditex is Hiring: Finance Controller Fixed-Term Contract (7 Months)

About the Role:

Inditex is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Finance Controller to join our team on a 7-month fixed-term contract.

This role is critical in driving financial planning, analysis, and control, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage the operational budget

- Analyze variances between actuals and budget; oversee financial closing and audits

- Prepare and deliver monthly KPI reports to both local and HQ teams (Sales, P&L, Investments, etc.)

- Conduct forecasting and regular financial reporting to HQ

- Support financial feasibility analysis for store openings, refurbishments, and other key initiatives

- Implement and monitor expense control measures; identify and recommend cost optimization opportunities

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Bachelors degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA/CA/ACCA preferred)

- Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel (ERP experience is a plus)

- Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skills

- Ability to manage tight deadlines, adapt in a dynamic environment, and maintain data confidentiality

- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards
