Role Overview:
- We are looking for a seasoned Manager Throughhole to lead and oversee all production activities related to throughhole technology in our manufacturing unit.
- This role demands strong leadership and technical expertise to drive process efficiency, maintain product quality, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- The Manager will collaborate across departments to optimize workflows, implement quality controls, and lead a skilled production team while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire throughhole assembly process including wave soldering, manual soldering, conformal coating (CRC), and epoxy coating operations.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of production operators and technicians.
- Responsible for manpower planning, training, and performance management to build a high-performing team.
- Conduct line balancing, cycle time studies, and workflow analysis to identify bottlenecks and improve manufacturing efficiency and throughput.
- Implement and maintain quality standards and best practices in line with organizational and industry requirements.
- Use quality tools (Six Sigma, PDCA) to monitor and improve product quality.
- Ensure proper maintenance of production equipment and machinery.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Manage production floor inventory, ensuring optimal availability of materials and minimizing wastage.
- Collaborate with procurement, quality assurance, engineering, and supply chain teams to streamline operations and meet production targets.
- Analyze production data to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare reports for senior management, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Enforce workplace safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company safety standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience with throughhole technology including wave soldering, manual soldering, and conformal/epoxy coating processes.
- Proven expertise in manpower handling, line balancing, and cycle time study for manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools, quality assurance processes, and industry standards.
- Solid background in inventory management within a production environment.
- Proficient in analyzing production data and generating actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot process and equipment issues effectively.
- Strong leadership and organizational capabilities with experience managing mid-sized teams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate across functions and lead teams effectively.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in manufacturing
