- Objectives of the Role:


- Communicating in line with best practice and regulation: Ensure all external communications meet legal and industry standards for accuracy and transparency.


- Educating international financial audiences: Share clear information about the IndiGo's strategy to global investors and analysts.


- Coordinating internal processes: Work with various departments to gather reliable information and align messaging before reaching out to external audiences.


- Regular external reporting: Prepare and deliver financial reports, regulatory disclosures, and market updates in a timely and understandable way.


Key Responsibilities:


- Regular external reporting activities:


- Continue to develop the IndiGos key messages and ensure data required by the financial markets are provided in a clear and concise manner on a timely basis, including all regulatory announcements and disclosures.


- Ensure that IndiGos key financial messages, regulatory disclosures, and market updates are published on the companys website in a timely and accessible manner.


- This includes maintaining up-to-date information for investors and adhering to all legal and industry standards.


- Prepare and update company presentations for Analyst Day and other investor events, including slide show packs and capital markets communications literature.


- These materials should be tailored to effectively communicate IndiGos strategy and performance to analysts and shareholders.


- Investor targeting/Analyst outreach.


- Competitor and peer-group analyses.


- Develop an investor targeting program and manage the annual calendar of IR conferences and other events to provide regular contact with shareholders.


- Prepare capital markets communications literature and presentations, slide show packs and roadshow materials.


- Attend key investor/analyst meetings, where appropriate with CEO and/or CFO Executive Directors.


- Manage periodic investor days and coordinate ad hoc analyst and investor tours, ensuring supporting materials are prepared as necessary.


- Maintain regular contact with buyand sell-side analysts, including responding to ad hoc queries.


- Ongoing management of IR activities.


- Monitor analysts forecast on an ongoing basis, comparison with IndiGos own forecasts, and work to guide expectations as appropriate.


- Monitor share price and valuation of the company.


- Monitor and review analyst reports on IndiGo and its peers and highlight any key issues for discussion with Executive Management.


- Oversee the production of the Annual Report in conjunction with other relevant business verticals.


- Organize conferences, road shows, earnings conference calls, and investor meetings.


- Other/ Ad Hoc Management.


- Maintaining a database of all investor/broker contact.


- Liaise with the companys retained stockbrokers, investment bankers and financial PR advisors.


- Write and coordinate aspects of crisis communications, as and when required, ensuring consistency of message and approach.


Skills Required For The Role:


- Strong analytical and communication skills: The role requires someone who can understand complex financial data and clearly explain their insights to others, both inside and outside the company.


- Deep knowledge of financial and investment markets: The candidate should be familiar with how financial markets work, the main investment tools, and relevant industry practices, especially in aviation.


- Proactive, organized, and able to work independently: The job involves handling many tasks, anticipating needs, and managing priorities without close supervision.


- Willingness to travel: The candidate should be able to travel for meetings and events, sometimes on short notice, to connect with investors and other stakeholders.


Education/Experience:


- Ideally experience within the Aviation sector through buy side or sell side.


- Bachelors/Masters degree with specialization in Finance.


- CA /CFA / MBA qualification.


- Minimum experience of 6 years.
