IndiGo - Manager - Business Analytics

Job Description:

IndiGo is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated professional to lead its Sales Reporting & Analytics function, providing strategic insights and supporting leadership with data-driven decision-making. This role will be pivotal in managing sales performance reporting, preparing leadership presentations, and driving commercial effectiveness across domestic / international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Extract and analyze data from multiple sources using tools like Power BI and SQL

- Prepare weekly leadership presentations, board decks, and budget-related reports

- Perform route-level analytics and variance analysis to track performance and identify opportunities

- Evaluate product and channel mix to support targeted sales strategies

- Conduct market and competition benchmarking to support strategic planning

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue across channels and points of sale

- Liaise with Finance, Digital, Legal, and other support functions for analytics needs.

Desired Profile:

- Masters degree in Business Analytics or MBA/CA preferred

- 5-10 years of experience in Consulting, Airlines, or E-Commerce

- Strong business communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills

- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint

- Proven ability to independently conduct quantitative analysis and hypothesis testing

- Experience in airline pricing, revenue management, or commercial analytics preferred

- Candidates with prior experience in working closely with leadership teams is a plus
