Role Overview:

The Associate Director of Finance & Accounts will serve as a key financial leader, overseeing the integrity of the companys financial reporting and accounting operations. You will work closely with the CFO, senior leadership, and cross-functional department heads to ensure financial discipline and regulatory compliance across the organization. This role is pivotal in driving financial strategy, managing complex accounting frameworks, and providing actionable insights that support the airline's growth and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for leading high-performing teams to deliver accurate financial statements and robust internal controls in a fast-paced, high-volume aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct the end-to-end financial accounting and reporting processes to ensure compliance with Ind-AS and statutory requirements for the airlines operations.

- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing cycles, providing the executive team with precise data to facilitate informed decision-making.

- Manage relationships with internal and external auditors to ensure seamless audit processes and the timely resolution of financial queries.

- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and filings, ensuring the organization adheres to all direct and indirect tax regulations in a complex regulatory landscape.

- Drive the automation and optimization of accounting systems to improve data accuracy and reduce turnaround times for financial reporting.

- Mentor and develop a large finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale financial operations, including deep knowledge of corporate accounting, treasury, and taxation.

- Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders and senior leadership with clarity and impact.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies within a large organization.

- Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of managing and scaling diverse teams in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.

- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) is essential, with 12 to 18 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.

- Ability to thrive in an on-site work environment at our Gurgaon headquarters, collaborating effectively with diverse teams across the airlines network.
