Responsibilities: - Lead a team of 10-15 underwriters and guide them in taking decisions in line with credit policy and TAT. - Understand and effectively manage the team's governance and performance. - Measure and monitor approval rates, early delinquency, and non-starter cases. - Interact with Lending partners on the platform to ensure that agreed SLAs are being met on a day-to-day basis, have fortnightly meeting (along with Collections team) to update the Lending Partners on portfolio quality. - Work with Risk and Collections to identify areas of concerns in the portfolio and suggest corrective action. - Provide suggestions to enhance the credit decision model. - Coordinating with Sales, Operation, Legal, Technology and Customer Service team effectively. - Regularly undertake projects directed towards process enhancement and automation to enable faster TAT and better quality underwriting decisions. - Ensuring adherence to the internal credit policy, RBI guidelines and guidelines specific to NBFC. Skills required: - Keen interest towards tech driven new age/ alternate data-based credit decision process. - Knowledge of various products such as business loan, line of credit, dropline OD, etc. will be an added advantage. - Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, general accounting, cash flows, financial ratios, etc. - Critical thinker with strong decision-making ability, excellent written and verbal communication. - Demonstrated capabilities towards multiple stakeholder management and presenting analysis/ report to Senior Management.
