Position Overview:
ISPP invites applications for the role of Assistant/Associate Professor specializing in Economics, Game Theory, and Statistics. The candidate will contribute to the academic rigor of ISPPs postgraduate programs by delivering high-quality teaching, engaging in research, and mentoring emerging policy scholars committed to innovative policy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Curriculum Development:
- Teach and develop courses in economics, game theory, and statistics aligned with postgraduate policy education.
- Contribute to curriculum design, innovation in pedagogy, and ensuring contemporary relevance and interdisciplinary integration.
- Engage with faculty and scholars to foster a collaborative academic environment and address scholarly concerns.
- To publish/undertake research projects aligned with ISPPs vision and in the field of public policy
Academic Mentorship:
- Academic Mentorship
- Monitor academic progress and participate in evaluation and feedback mechanisms.
Qualifications and Skills:
- PhD in Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, and Development Economics/Management disciplines.
- Minimum of 3 to 8 years of relevant post-PhD teaching and/or research experience, which would vary for an associate and assistant professor.
- Proven ability to teach and mentor at the postgraduate level, preferably in policy-related programs.
- Demonstrated research capabilities with publications and potential for funded projects.
- Proficiency in quantitative and statistical software (e.g., R, Python, Stata) is desirable.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to ISPPs mission of educating impactful policy professionals.
