Role: Manager Training & Development


Job Overview


We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager Training & Development to lead the learning, development, and performance enhancement initiatives for our Admissions team. The role focuses on designing and implementing effective training programs, improving team efficiency, reducing PIP exits, and ensuring admissions targets are met consistently. You will be responsible for creating a culture of continuous learning, where team members are empowered to grow, perform, and achieve their potential. Additionally, you will work closely with leadership to strategically align training initiatives with business goals, ensuring measurable impact on team performance and employee retention.


Key Responsibilities


- Design, develop, and implement training programs for the Admissions team to enhance selling skills, communication, and counselling techniques.


- Conduct needs analysis to identify gaps in skills, knowledge, and performance across the team.


- Mentor and coach team leads and admissions executives for better performance and engagement and to reduce PIP exits by improving performance and engagement.


- Monitor and track the effectiveness of training programs through KPIs, feedback, and performance metrics.


- Collaborate with senior management to align training initiatives with organizational goals and admissions targets.


- Lead workshops, simulations, and role-play sessions to improve presentation and counselling skills.


- Ensure consistent adoption of best practices across all locations.


- Support onboarding of new hires and accelerate their learning curve for quicker contribution.


- Introduce innovative learning methodologies, digital tools, and content for continuous improvement.


Qualifications & Skills


- Masters degree in HR, Education, Management, or related field


- 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably with exposure to Admissions, Sales, or Customer-Facing teams.


- Strong experience in training design, delivery, and performance management.


- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.


- Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams across multiple locations.


- Analytical mindset to track training impact and performance metrics.
