About the Firm: IndiaLaw LLP is a full-service law firm committed to delivering strategic, compliant, and client-focused legal solutions.

Our Real Estate Practice advises developers, investors, corporates, and individuals across a wide range of property transactions and disputes.

Role Overview: We are seeking a Real Estate Associate with two years of focused experience in property law.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling transactional and advisory matters, conducting due diligence, and supporting litigation and regulatory work related to real estate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft and review real estate documentation including sale deeds, lease agreements, development agreements, and title reports

- Conduct title verification and legal due diligence for residential, commercial, and industrial properties

- Advise clients on RERA compliance, land acquisition, redevelopment, and regulatory approvals

- Represent clients in real estate litigation, arbitration, and proceedings before regulatory authorities

- Liaise with government departments for registration, mutation, and compliance matters

- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to internal process templates and knowledge tools

- Align deliverables with firms operational standards and KRA/KPI frameworks

Qualifications and Skills:

- LL.B. from a recognized university; enrolled with a State Bar Council

- Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate law

- Strong understanding of property laws, RERA, stamp duty, registration laws, and municipal regulations

- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills

- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools; working knowledge of Excel preferred

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
