Job Profile:

- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making processes.

- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance against budgets and forecasts.

- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for the management team and investors.

- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to finalize and align financial plans with business goals.

- Monitor budget adherence and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Coordinate with external and internal auditors for annual audits and address audit findings.

- Support the evaluation of new business opportunities, investments, and partnerships from a financial perspective.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives.

- Analyze financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's assets and profitability.

- Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and laws in the fintech/lending industry.

- Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and implement necessary changes in the company's policies and procedures.

- Serve as a financial liaison to internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and concise financial data and insights.

- Assist in preparing materials for investor meetings and strategic discussions.

- Mentor and develop a small finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across departments to enhance overall business performance.

Qualifications:

Essential: Chartered Accountant (CA) is a must.

- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the fintech or lending industry.

- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and forecasting skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.

Preferred:

- Additional qualifications such as CFA or MBA will be an advantage.

- Experience in startup environments or early-stage companies is a plus.

- Familiarity with financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems) and understanding of financial regulations in India.
