JOB PURPOSE:

The CA SCM manager's responsibility is to ensure and improve Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery targets. This position will manage both sites of CA India SCM function's activities.

This position is responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient, ethical culture and work environment within the Assigned area of responsibility. The position is responsible for providing quality products to our customers on time through the efficient and safe use of resources. It is also responsible for ensuring operational and KPI targets are met.

Reporting to Plant Manager

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:-

5. Create a safe environment and ensure compliances.

- Ensure a safe working environment and personally commit to and deliver Environmental, Health & Safety performance within the assigned area of responsibility

- Act as role model and set high expectations for JM Values, Ethics and compliance.

- Establish, maintain and cultivate a customer focus mindset and excellent Customers Relationships. This includes internal customer and supplier relationship and focus.

- Meet Budget (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Costs) within their area of responsibility and contribute to overall Plant Budget.

- Interact and work with all Plant Operational and Support Functions (Production, Quality, Regional Supply Chain, Engineering, EH&S, Human Resources, Finance, and technical departments etc.) to ensure the integrated operation of the manufacturing unit. This includes implementing projects and processes geared at improving plant performance.

- Represent the company and their respective department in any agreements with the collective bargaining unit and supporting staff in implementation.

- Based on local employment law and regulations, the supervisor is responsible to establish a constructive social climate and open dialogue with Union representatives and work council.

- The Manager will take ownership and responsibility for ensuring the highest level of safety in their respective areas as well as coordinating with other areas to remain aligned with site-wide rules, policies, and initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS/ KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE:-

- Bachelor's degree in engineering Essential

- 15 Years+ experience in a manufacturing environment having led Supply Chain areas in automotive and or Chemical companies Essential

- Substantial experience in working effectively in complex Matrix organizations Essential

- Significant experience in building and maintaining positive customer relationships Essential
