Branding plays a crucial role at India School Leadership Institute (ISLI). As the organization operates in a space that is not well developed in India, the Brand Manager must not only build ISLI's brand, but also educate the general populace about the importance of school leadership development. As ISLI aims to serve significantly more school leaders with each progressive year, it leans heavily on the Brand Manager to spread the word about the organisation and its programs.  The Brand Manager will be responsible for all aspects of any external communication whether it be digital, events, printed materials, public relations or advertisements. We are looking for anenterprising, resourceful, multi-tasking individual who can independently manage all Marketing projects from strategy to the last level of implementation. The Brand Manager must also ensure that all communications are in alignment with the ISLI brand.  Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following.  Digital:  Website:  - Use WordPress based Content Management System (CMS) to upload fellowship application forms; post job openings; biographies and pictures of staff; news from various fellowship programs, fellows and their schools.  - Identify, contract and manage website development company as required.  - Create content for all sections of website and update as required. From time to time, this will involve identifying, hiring and managing external vendors such as freelance graphic designers and translators.  Newsletter:  - Create content for monthly newsletter.  - Coordinate with mailing logistics vendor to distribute via snail mail.   - Use Mail Chimp to design and disburse electronic version of newsletter.  Social Media:  - Plan social media posts.  - Research and coordinate with staff/fellows to generate content (articles, pictures and videos) and ensure regular social media activity.  Documentation:  - Maintain a library of all content such as articles, pictures and videos, for future use.  - Support ISLI staff and fellows in handling payments, claiming reimbursements, travel and any other administrative support they may need.  Events:  - Identify and engage with education conferences and other events that can serve as a platform to promote ISLI's work.  - Secure speaking engagements for ISLI staff and associates at events.  - Showcase ISLI and our programs through booths/stalls at education fairs.  - Create all materials required for internal and external events such as standees, posters, banners, brochures and presentation templates.  - Coordinate with Program team, as required, to ensure that events occur smoothly.  Videography/Photography:  - Identify, hire and manage vendors who will showcase ISLI's work through photos and videos.Create videos as required.   - Manage all aspects of video production including the development of storylines, handling shooting logistics, preparing staff/fellows for shooting/interviews, managing videographers, music composers, editors etc.  Public Relations:  - Generate publicity for ISLI events though own platforms. Identify and engage external opportunities to generate interest for our events.  - Develop and maintain relations with publications. Send them regular updates on ISLI's progress.  - Write articles that build ISLI's credibility by showcasing our impact, and promote school leadership as a major area of focus in the education sector.  Overall Communications:  - Support team in producing communication materials such as slides, documents, posters, fliers etc.  - Provide feedback on design and content of materials as required.  - Ensure that all ISLI communication materials are of a high quality and in alignment with the brand.  Skills:  - Excellent English writing and communication skills  - Working knowledge of Hindi  - Proficient in MS Office and Google Apps for Business  - Proficiency in Mail Chimp and Content Management Systems (CMS) for websites is preferred  Qualities:  - An understanding of design  - Comfortable with copywriting for various mediums such as posters, websites, newspapers, social media  - Enterprising and resourceful  - Ability to manage multiple workstreams while working towards tight deadlines  - Ability to build and maintain relationships with various external service providers such as freelance graphic designers, translators, printers  Education:  - Bachelor's or equivalent degree required   - Minimum of 2 years work experience in Marketing required.  Work Location and Remuneration:  Position is based in Mumbai with travel 3-4 times in a year within India.
